Box Truck Flips In Intersection

Box Truck Racer.

Box trucks: the Internet’s favorite vehicle to see crash. When people are not running box trucks into overpasses, light poles or backing them into parked cars, apparently they are buzzing them through intersections at high rates of speed.

First and foremost, what an advertisement for Lowes. Nothing like a viral video to gain exposure in 2019.

Now that we have that out of the way lets admit it, we have all been there. You think you can make the light, so you do that tight-gripped steering wheel squeeze while slinking down in your seat as you stomp your foot on the gas even though you are clearly late on the light while silently praying there are not any cops within viewing range.

Well, this is not one of those situations. This guy was a solid three “Mississippi’s” past the light transition and was still holding her to the floor.

This was completely the box truck driver’s fault and we perhaps may never know why he didn’t take the hint of the car in the adjacent lane at a dead stop as a signal to pump the brakes. Our guess is, texting…but we will let you make the decision.

Needless to say this is certainly up there in the online world of box truck crashes. We personally give it an 7.5 out of 10. Hopefully this can serve as a lesson that what we do every single day can be incredibly dangerous. Drive safe out there.
