Dump Truck Crashes into Bridge

May 13, 2019

Several weeks ago, a 76-year-old dump truck driver crashed into a bridge in Cleveland, Ohio in the early hours of the morning. The bridge stopped the dump truck dead in its tracks while simultaneously lifting the cab to a near 90 degree angle.

The driver, Joseph Gammalo, was driving down I-77 in route to pick up materials for his next job. In the footage from a nearby security camera, you an see the dump truck approaching the bridge with its bed raised in the air.
